Trinity Briggs, 41, a Black male, was found shot to death in the pre-dawn hours of August 18, 2018, in North Omaha near 48th Street and Sahler. Officers had been called around 3:40 a.m. and discovered him deceased at the scene inside a car. News reports identified him soon after, and an obituary later confirmed his date of birth and passing, with funeral services held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Omaha.
