On November 9, 2010, 20-year-old Angelo Tapia Armando Domena, a male from Omaha, Nebraska, was fatally shot inside the Northside Apartments located at 3025 Meredith Avenue. The incident marked the 30th homicide in Omaha that year, surpassing the total number of homicides in 2009.
Following the shooting, Omaha police arrested 24-year-old Nathan Adkins on suspicion of criminal homicide and a felony weapons charge in connection with the death of Angelo Domena.
