On the evening of September 17, 2024, a 26-year-old Black / African American man named Ramon Tramble Jr. was fatally shot in downtown Omaha, Nebraska. The incident occurred shortly after 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of South 16th and Farnam Streets. First responders arrived at the scene to find Tramble suffering from a gunshot wound.
