A man is found dead in the front yard of his home
In the early hours of a late March morning in 2015, the life of Leatrice Wallace, a 30-year-old Black / African American male, was tragically cut short in Omaha, Nebraska. On March 31st, Wallace was discovered in the front yard of a residence, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound. The discovery marked the beginning of a homicide investigation by the Omaha Police Department, as they sought to piece together the events that led to his untimely death.
