Death by Force

In the late hours of a Friday night in Washington, D.C., violence erupted on a street in the Northwest quadrant of the city. On April 4, 2025, in the 700 block of Otis Place, Northwest, a 22-year-old man named Kalyl Young was shot. The report of gunfire brought officers from the Metropolitan Police Department to the scene at approximately 10:41 p.m. There they discovered Young suffering from a gunshot wound.
