On June 19, 2019, 29-year-old Juan Marcell Grant was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the 700 block of Princeton Place, Northwest, Washington, DC. The incident occurred around 9:24 PM, prompting members of the Fourth District to respond to the scene. Upon arrival, they discovered Grant with severe injuries. Despite the efforts of DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services, who transported him to a nearby hospital, Grant was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
