In the small town of Cordele, Georgia, the death of 39-year-old Charles Clayton Gibbs on January 21, 1966, was initially attributed to liver disease, a seemingly unremarkable tragedy that left behind his wife, Janie Lou Gibbs, and their three sons. However, this was to be the first in a series of devastating losses for the Gibbs family, events that would slowly unravel a sinister story of deception and murder.
