On a summer evening in Cordele, Georgia, the life of 38-year-old Kenneth Armstrong, a Black / African American male, was cut short. On June 9, 2019, at approximately 10:30 p.m., gunshots shattered the quiet of the 2200 block of Roosevelt Street. When deputies from the Crisp County Sheriff's Office arrived, they discovered Armstrong inside a vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Crisp Regional Hospital, but tragically succumbed to his injuries around midnight.
