Kenneth Armstrong, a 38-year-old African American male from Cordele, Georgia, tragically lost his life on June 9, 2019. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. when a 911 caller reported gunshots in the 2200 block of Roosevelt Street. Upon arrival, the first deputy on the scene found Armstrong seated in a vehicle, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to Crisp Regional Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries around midnight.
