In the early morning hours of Friday, February 5, 2021, the life of 28-year-old Jerel Arkeem Richards, a male resident of Savannah, Georgia, was tragically cut short. Responding to a call around 1 a.m., officers from the Chatham County Police Department arrived at an apartment complex in the 100 block of Prince Royal Lane to find a grim scene. Richards was discovered with an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
