Camille Perniola, a 17-year-old girl, was tragically murdered on March 18, 1972, in Queens, New York. Camille was stabbed to death while she slept in her parents' home. The attack was part of a series of violent crimes committed by a nocturnal prowler who terrorized the residents of Queens between September 1970 and June 1972. This prowler, later identified as Joseph Baldi, targeted women in their homes, often entering through windows and attacking them in their beds.
