Kenisha Morrison, a 35-year-old woman, was found dead in her Queens, New York, apartment on March 22, 2024, in a tragic murder-suicide. The grim discovery was made during a wellness check initiated after her family grew concerned.

Inside the residence, police also found the body of her 41-year-old ex-boyfriend, Pedro Lugo. Investigators determined that Lugo shot Morrison before turning the gun on himself. Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.
