On March 22, 2024, in South Jamaica, Queens, 35-year-old Kenisha Morrison was found dead alongside her ex-boyfriend, 38-year-old Joseph Murphy, in an apparent murder-suicide. Both had sustained fatal gunshot wounds to the head, and a firearm was discovered near Murphy's body.
