Christine Freund, aged 26, was tragically killed on January 30, 1977, in Queens, New York. Freund was the second victim of the infamous serial killer David Berkowitz, also known as the "Son of Sam." On that fateful night, Freund and her fiancé, John Diel, were sitting in Diel's car near the Forest Hills Long Island Rail Road station after watching the movie "Rocky" and planning to go dancing.
