In the spring of 2015, the life of 53-year-old Michael Paul Acord came to a tragic end in Augusta, Georgia. On Wednesday, April 1st, Acord was found with a gunshot wound and subsequently died. The circumstances surrounding his death were not immediately clear, leaving a community to mourn a man described by friends and family as a good man who was full of life.
