Death by Force

Leta Webb, a 70-year-old resident of South Jamaica, Queens, was tragically killed on March 31, 2015. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when Webb answered a knock on her door at around 1:30 a.m. She was shot twice, once in the head and once in the left arm, and was later pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. The community was left in shock and mourning, as Webb was known for her kindness and her role as a beloved grandmother and neighbor.
