On January 7, 1995, 15-year-old Melinda Wynns was among six victims brutally murdered in a condominium in the College Point neighborhood of Queens, New York. The assailants, armed with knives and a 9mm pistol equipped with a silencer, forcibly entered the residence of Arlex DeJesus, 29, and his companion, Maria Ramirez, 42.
