Vanessa Lopez, a 25-year-old Latina, was found dead near Espada Dam on the city's Southside in October 2012. Initially, her death was ruled undetermined, but the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office later classified it as a homicide. Vanessa's mother, Velinda Guerrero, expressed her anguish and desire for closure, as Vanessa left behind three children: two daughters and a son. The San Antonio Police Department's homicide detectives are actively working on the case, but no one has been charged ...
