Jamal Singleton, a 22-year-old male from Brooklyn, NY, was tragically shot and killed on September 19, 2011. Singleton was outside his girlfriend's home on Greene Avenue when he was approached by an unknown male. Words were exchanged between Singleton and the suspect, which escalated into a fatal shooting. Singleton was shot in the back and later pronounced dead at Woodhull Hospital.
