Rickie Young, a 37-year-old resident of Brooklyn, New York, tragically lost his life on September 4, 2015. Young was the owner of a newly opened cafe, Taste of Brooklyn, located in the Prospect Lefferts Gardens neighborhood. On the morning of his death, Young was shot twice, once in the left shoulder and once in the jaw. Despite his injuries, he managed to drive himself to Kings County Hospital.
