On February 6, 2023, 20-year-old Ethen Flowers was fatally shot in the Canarsie neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. At approximately 10:15 a.m., as Flowers was leaving an Airbnb where he had been celebrating his girlfriend's birthday, three men approached him near the intersection of Paerdegat First Street and East 79th Street.
