Just a week after celebrating his eighteenth birthday, Anthonio 'Tony' Alexis, a young Black man from Brooklyn, New York, found his life tragically cut short. On the night of August 6, 2020, Anthonio was with a group of friends in the Flatbush neighborhood when violence erupted.
