Michael David Moore, a 32-year-old male police officer with the Garland Police Department in Texas, was tragically shot and killed on February 15, 1997. Officer Moore was responding to a bank robbery when he was shot multiple times, with one bullet penetrating his vest. The suspect responsible for his death was later convicted of Capital Murder and sentenced to death. The suspect was executed on January 7, 2010.
