On March 6, 2025, a tragic incident unfolded in Garland, Texas, resulting in the death of 22-year-old Malron Murray, a young African American man. The fatal shooting occurred at an apartment complex located in the 200 block of East I-30 Highway. Garland police responded to a call just after 2 a.m. and discovered Murray suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel transported him to a local hospital, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
