Filemon Rico-Sanchez, a 26-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on September 17, 2014, in Dallas, TX. The circumstances surrounding his death were particularly violent and heartbreaking. According to police reports, Filemon was killed by Mark Anthony Ponce, his ex-boyfriend, who broke into Filemon's residence and shot him multiple times with a handgun. The incident occurred late at night when Ponce forcibly entered the home by kicking in the door.
