On January 3, 2023, at approximately 9:15 p.m., Johnson City Police Department officers responded to a reported shooting at 1927 Lone Oak Road. Upon arrival, they discovered 32-year-old Elijah Taylor Berry, also known by his stage name Godfrey Daniels, deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
