In the quiet community of Johnson City, Tennessee, a sense of anticipation had been building for 63-year-old Kevin Hathaway. After much hard work and collaboration with Holston Habitat for Humanity, he was on the verge of moving into a new home, a place he helped build and could truly call his own. This dream, however, was tragically cut short on the evening of April 10, 2021. It was on this day that Mr. Hathaway was fatally shot inside his residence on Bowman Road in the Milligan area.
