On September 8, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in downtown Johnson City, Tennessee, resulting in the death of 18-year-old Charles Dabney from Greeneville. The shooting took place in the early hours of Sunday morning, around 2 a.m., near Majestic Park. Dabney was one of two victims found with gunshot wounds at the scene. Both were transported to a local hospital for treatment, but unfortunately, Dabney succumbed to his injuries at Johnson City Memorial Hospital.
