On a summer day in 2018, the life of 38-year-old Christopher Scott Connelly of Telford, Tennessee, was tragically cut short. On June 2nd, his partially clothed body was discovered on the side of Dry Creek Road in Johnson City by a woman out walking her dog. An investigation into his death quickly determined that Connelly, a white male, had been fatally shot in the back of the head, a detail that pointed to a deliberate and violent end to an altercation that had preceded the discovery.
