Stacey Edward Burns, a 52-year-old male from Amarillo, Texas, tragically died on March 17, 2015. According to police reports, Burns was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head in his residence at 6215 Belpree Road. Investigators determined that Burns shot an unidentified woman before turning the gun on himself. The woman survived and was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. She managed to call 911, alerting authorities to the incident.
