Joe Anthony Moreno, a 16-year-old male from Amarillo, Texas, tragically passed away on August 30, 2020, from a single gunshot wound. He was found dead inside an apartment in the 4100 block of SW 45th Avenue in south Amarillo. The incident occurred on the night of August 29, 2020, when officers responded to a medical call at the apartment complex.
