On September 7, 2024, in Amarillo, Texas, 11-year-old Daniel Garcia, his mother, and his sister were tragically killed in a murder-suicide perpetrated by his mother's husband, 42-year-old Jose David Olmos. The incident occurred at their residence in the 3600 block of NE 14th Avenue, where a concerned family member discovered the bodies and alerted authorities.
