On July 9, 2023, 28-year-old DeQuincton Te'Quan Taylor tragically lost his life during a private party in Amarillo, Texas. The event, held at an event center near SW 45th Avenue and Georgia Street, was intended to celebrate his fiancée's birthday. During the gathering, a fight erupted among some attendees, leading to gunfire that resulted in seven people being shot.
