Gonzalo Zubia, a 34-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically died on November 27, 2021, in Amarillo, Texas. He was found dead in a back room of a home near South Pierce Street, having succumbed to a gunshot wound. The incident occurred after a 911 call was placed from the area, but the caller, who was speaking Spanish, stopped talking before an address could be obtained. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered the back door of the residence open and located Zubia's body.
