Miguel Sapien Gutierrez, a 58-year-old Hispanic male, was found dead on the morning of August 12, 2022, in Amarillo, Texas. The Amarillo Police Department responded to a call at approximately 7:55 a.m. regarding shots fired in the 2400 block of northwest 15th Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of Miguel Sapien Gutierrez and a second victim, a 28-year-old male who sustained non-life-threatening injuries from a gunshot wound to the upper body.
