Gregory Lynn Battee Jr., a 21-year-old male from Amarillo, Texas, tragically died on March 30, 2017, from a gunshot wound to the upper body inside his north Amarillo home. He was discovered by police officers around 2:15 a.m. after responding to a call at his residence on 900 N. Hayden St. Battee was remembered by neighbors as a "cool, young guy" and a father of two.
