Aaron Carter, a 25-year-old man from Amarillo, Texas, tragically died on September 30, 2019, from gunshot wounds. He was found in the 5000 block of South Bowie Street, and despite being rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. The Amarillo Police Department's homicide unit determined that Aaron was murdered.
Following Aaron's death, his wife, Brittney Nichole Carter, was arrested just days later on suspicion of his murder.

Ultimately, the jury concluded that there was not enough evidence to convict Brittney of the crime.

He is remembered as a hardworking man who loved tattoos, camping, dirt biking, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his children, Benjamin Stroud and Hailey Carter, his mother Jeana Weaver, and his siblings, Brian Carter and Amber Carter Bierwirth.
