Private N. P. Doc, also known as Nathaniel Pendergrass Thomas, was a 49-year-old male of Caucasian ethnicity. He served as a Texas Ranger and former peace officer. On January 5, 1909, Doc Thomas was shot and killed in Amarillo, Texas.
