Merterian Simone Joseph, a 28-year-old woman of African American ethnicity, tragically passed away on September 10, 2022, in Houston, Texas. She was fatally shot while inside a parked vehicle at around 8 p.m. on that day. The incident occurred at 2400 Staples Street in Houston's Fifth Ward.
