On August 17, 2015, Yvette Rodriguez, a 26-year-old woman from Houston, Texas, was tragically killed while sitting in a car with her boyfriend, David Chavez, 24, outside her home in southeast Houston. The couple was found fatally shot inside a white Subaru parked outside Rodriguez's residence. Neighbors reported hearing gunshots around 10:30 p.m., and police arrived to find both victims pronounced dead at the scene.
