Cavanna Shacoria Smith, a 25-year-old African American woman from Houston, Texas, tragically passed away on October 6, 2021. She was a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice and was working towards her master's degree in the same field. Cavanna was also an entrepreneur and a devoted member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church.
