Carmen Hayes, a 71-year-old woman from Houston, Texas, tragically lost her life on March 2, 2021. She was found shot to death in her southeast Houston home along with her 15-year-old grandson, Bryce Alexander. The suspect in this case is Derrick Hayes, Carmen's 35-year-old grandson. Derrick Hayes was arrested and charged with capital murder, aggravated assault of a family member, and felon in possession of a weapon.
