In the summer of 2015, a tragedy unfolded in Chattanooga, Tennessee, that claimed the life of Staff Sgt. David Allen Wyatt, a 35-year-old male U.S. Marine. On July 16th, a gunman launched an attack on two military facilities, forever altering the lives of many and leaving a community in mourning. Wyatt, along with three other Marines and a sailor, was killed in the violent rampage that the FBI would later classify as an act of domestic terrorism inspired by a foreign terrorist organization.
