In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the life of 15-year-old Tremone Franklin was tragically cut short. On July 20, 2025, police responded to calls about gunfire near the 1700 block of Read Avenue and discovered the male teenager's body on the street. The community was left in mourning following this violent act, which marked the city's ninth homicide of the year.
