Death by Force

On August 9, 2023, 19-year-old Javontae Aveion Moon was fatally shot outside the Amazon Fulfillment Center near the Volkswagen plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Moon, employed at the facility as a packer and sorter, was shot in the head at close range during the early morning hours. Emergency responders transported him to a local hospital in critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries on August 14, 2023.
