Chad Howard Smith, a 38-year-old attorney, was last seen in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, on January 11, 2011. His disappearance followed a tumultuous evening that began with a heated argument with his wife at their home. The dispute reportedly escalated, after which the couple went to a Waffle House.
