Chad Howard Smith, age 38, was last seen on January 11, 2011, in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, following a series of troubling events. Chad and his wife had a heated argument that escalated into a physical altercation. Following this, Chad left the house after a minor car accident and an argument at a Waffle House. His wife later filed an assault complaint and warned him that he could face legal charges for the fight and for driving under the influence.
