In the winter of 2015, the community of Ripley, Tennessee, was shaken by a violent act that claimed the life of a young man. On the evening of December 16th, 20-year-old Clarence Evans was fatally shot in a residence on Watkins Street that also served as a local barbershop. The attack, which unfolded as a deadly armed robbery, left two other individuals wounded and a family grieving an immeasurable loss.
