Death by Force

On the evening of October 30, 2024, at approximately 7:30 p.m., a tragic drive-by shooting occurred in the Northcrest subdivision of Ripley, Tennessee. The incident resulted in the death of 17-year-old Demarcus Tyrrelle Barnes, a senior at Ripley High School and a member of the varsity football team. Another 16-year-old male sustained a gunshot wound to the leg during the attack.
