Marcus Cal, a 28-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically lost his life on July 4, 2016, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was fatally shot on Jarvis Avenue, where witnesses reported that two vehicles pulled up and occupants from both vehicles opened fire on a group of people. Alongside Marcus, another man, Alex Freeman, also died from the shooting, while two other men, Tony Jackson and Ivan Hill, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
