Joel Ervin, a 37-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically lost his life on July 30, 2019, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Joel was fatally shot during a shooting incident at the Hamilton Pines Apartments on Pinewood Avenue. Chattanooga Police identified Joel as the victim, and he was pronounced dead at the scene by Hamilton County EMS.
