On his way to work before dawn on August 15, 2024, Eugene Carson was shot and killed in what authorities believe may have been a road rage incident. The 61-year-old male was driving his truck in Chattanooga, Tennessee, when the driver of a silver or gray Kia Sportage pulled up alongside him at a red light on Rossville Boulevard and opened fire.
