On April 14, 2023, 24-year-old Deountay LiDarrious Brown was fatally shot near 3300 Dodson Avenue in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The incident involved a drive-by shooting, with reports indicating that a man wearing a ski mask entered Brown's residence shortly before the shooting occurred. After a brief stay inside, the masked individual exited, and shots were subsequently fired toward the house, striking Brown. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
